Same. Think they moved them or gave up on them entirely.

Last I saw them, the St. Augustine one was completely down again, and the Whitecap one was so silted over you could hardly make out the cars on the road.

Hopefully it's not permanent, maybe just re-locating on the site.

i see that yall are having trouble keeping live web cams of your areas. i miss seeing the one at bob hall pier. its a pay camera now and whenyou are on social security its hard to budget that. i know about the pins but it is a still photo. in the galveston area there is a group called salwater -recon and thye have set up cameras all over from kemah clear lake area all the way to freeport and surfside beach. i know nothing of their fees but it is free to use. i think they use so form of fees to advertisers or even the pier owners who lets them set up cameras of the water. yall might try to see what they are doing so you can have a more reliable site to use.i cant wait til we get to come fishing there again soon

I think it's the overall upkeep of exposing them to the salty sea elements that makes them hard to maintain and/or keep "free". I think that's what it has to come to is just volunteer donors to not only pay for them but maintain them as well. That being said, the City of Galveston has a real nice one that can be user-controlled and see all sorts of different angles up and down the Seawall. I don't know if that's entirely tax-funded or not but it never seems to have the issues ours have.

The cams are back up at the same address. Looks like they got a third party hosting them now. They've been cleaned up real nice, too. The marina one isn't there, it says it's been re-located but I couldn't find it.

Rolling Eyes

I think I'm going to start a convo with the Saltwater Recon guys. They have a really nice website too. See what it might take to get some coverage down our way.
