I have a couple of friends who fish lake Buchanan a lot. They cast net a bunch of shad take them home and run them through a food processor. Then fill up zip-locks and freeze it. later when the bass schooling run starts they spoon feed it over the boat. One guy told me the white bass came right up and surrounded the boat. They caught a limit.

Thanks for all the help.
My nephew did not catch any slot drum, but he did catch a 38 inch drum that ran around the boat, under the anchor rope, and tried several times to foul the line.
He managed to open the bail and pass the rod under the anchor rope in time.
His dad caught a 24 inch drum, too.
Good day for everyone.

Awesome! A memory that he will keep forever. And, the picture will bring it back vividly in case it gets cloudy...

Then we did a drift in my back yard and we caught 16 trout. One on topwater, the rest on Vudu Shrimp.
