Ok so it was raining heavily and quite blustery today. I watched the NFL last night and I remembered "The Autumn Wind" NFL film which was narrated by the late great, John Facenda. I found the words on Wiki and cued up the real video on youtube to the part where it starts playing the instrumental and with my cell phone in vicinity of the speaker on my desktop I recorded it in one take. The audio is too low for my tastes but it made me laugh and thought you might like it.
Here is is my impression of John Facenda doing "The Autumn Wind"

Brings back 40 yr plus memories.

Before we were old enough to drive... Tyler would answer the phone at our house impersonating my dad perfectly. Caller had no clue he was not talking to my dad until my dad ripped the phone out of his hand. Gdmit Tyler!

Cool, How he would bring to life with his intense deep clear voice, comparing teams and players to Gladiators fighting the battle of their lives !!

I could watch and listen to the old N.F.L. clips all day with the legions i grew up with, The old bears under Ditka, Cowboys under Landry, Dolphins under Schula, Oilers under Bum, Raiders under Madden .......
