Headed down to corpus for thanksgiving to go fishing with my dad and uncle. We go down pretty regularly but havent been this late in the year. What should we plan on targeting and expect in late november? Thanks in advance!

not answering your question, but we've had great times at South Padre around Thanksgiving, including blackwater and kings at the jetties.

Very possible the Reds will still running strong in the surf. Pompano in the surf as well Red's, trout and Flounder in the Laguna

Best bull reds I caught last year was Christmas week in really nasty surf. Look for crabs in the "wash".

I used to fish the North Jetty in Port A on Thanksgiving. Turkey sandwiches, beer and a small portable TV to watch the Cowboy game. Always caught fish.

Best trip I have had was Thanksgiving a few years ago. Caught reds and black drum in the surf in front of the Island House. We are going to be there this Thanksgiving to try it again.
