I haven't been on the site much lately due to taking care of my sick mother and was shocked when I logged in today. I never met Stan but felt like I knew him from his posts. I send my sympathies to his family. RIP Stan.

I am so sad to hear this news. IMS welcomed me to this forum years ago when I was making trips down south to take my daughter fishing. I, like so many others, have learned so much from him over the years, and just loved to read his posts. I always wanted to make a trip during one of his famous fish fry gatherings, and regrettably, never did. My sincere condolences to his loved ones. You are in my prayers.

I just learned of Mr. Stan passing. Completely in shock!

I haven't been on in a while. I was first strolling through the classifieds and saw his boat for sale. So I went to the message forum and learned of his passing.

Like others on this forum I only knew him through the forum but I felt like I "knew him".

My condolences to his family and all that knew him.

RIP Mr. Stan.
