The calm day after our Corpus Christi snow event, we took a shot at some winter drum. It's always uncomfortable fishing the winter but as soon as noon hit with the sun aimed high, we where able to finally get on our winter drum.

Black drum are fun to catch in the cold. The only time my late dad ever got many fish off of his deck on the canal was when it got cold and the drum stacked up in there. Thanks for the video.

That's so awesome! We learned a lot about them while fishing them in the winter.

I still haven't found a direct answer as to why exactly they run the way they do down our channels Feb-March and other months. I've talk to bait shop and and local guide, but they could never fully explain it.
