This little guy (!) didn't make it past the juvenile stage, but at least he didn't suffer the same fate as the "Fido Fritters" I came across near him. Somebody apparently set the house pet on fire, (hopefully in a cremation act), but they didn't do a quality job.
The gannett picture is here, although I'll save the more tender eyes from the Fido Fritters
