Looks like Becky and I need to go down between Roadblocks again on Laguna Shores!  They like that don't they Becky!

LOL! I was headed to the Island yesterday after work (in the Honda), and got to Gully's, and saw that the water was over the road at the gut dump! I remembered our incident and immediately turned around and used Waldron....

there's two kinds of people: first, it's those that accept the fact that the sea level and climate has changed in the past, is currently changing, and will continue to change in the future...up or down, hot or cold....regardless of man's influence (that's another ball of wax)...
and then there's the head-in-the-sand society that thinks only within recent memory, and says that it's all horse hockey and that we're just experiencing weird tides and the sea level isn't actually currently rising and the climate changing...

A northeast wind has always pushed water up the beach. Combine that with high tides over 2 feet and water goes to the dunes. Nothing new. The interesting part of this is combine the storm surge we are going to get from Nate now that it is in the gulf with these 2 factors and things could worse. Throw in a cold front next week for good measure too!
The good part of this is once everything has subsided, surf fishing should be on fire!! Jeff Wolda |
