I was just looking at google maps and it appears the images for at least port A and Packery are post Harvey. I could be wrong but a lot of destruction showing that I dont remember ever being there and they show to 2017 when the were not before.

Nah my google maps does not show the tarps on elconstante or the extensive damage to the holiday Inn express.

Side note: Most of the upper shades on the Beach Breeze condos survived which is amazing....must have build those with actual screws!!

mine shows the post-storm pics...check out packery channel on the south side between the Seagate and the beach...if you can see the collapses and damage, then your maps are updated...

Just check the 'Imagery Date' stamp in the middle at the bottom. Most everything around use was flown 8/29, and you can really get a feel for the destruction.

Now I see why the State Park is shut. It took a beating in the middle parking area. And it shows why I was saying the South Jetty is a tough slog. The beach is basically gone!! And south Packery looks like Pac-Man went along and did his business at the rocks edge!!!

Nice find Vern.

Later I had more time to look around and there is a lot of damage in Port A.
Houses gone, some houses, businesses demolished. The football field down by the jetties is all tore up. Ill start another post but I am coming down on Sat-Sun, figured to fish packery at the parking lot between boat ramp and jetties, but I noticed it seems even the bathroom is gone and google shows sea grass and debris all the way up the hillside that was some deep water there. A lot of erosion too.

Google Maps or Earth? I have 2017 at the bottom but does not show any damage.

Anyway of forcing it to show most recent?

Thanks! I can see the barges on St Joseph's now.

I'm guessing they are permanent, I cannot imagine how they would get them off without tearing the island to bits.
