My personal best trout this last weekend. Caught her on the kids set up with 8lb mono so it made for a lot of fun. Even though she's not the biggest fish ever, I'm going to mount it because of where I caught it and who I was with. More about looking at the mount and remembering a time of life then anything else. Ended up going about 26".

Nice! I am still waiting for my trout of a lifetime. I guess I had better get out from behind the keyboard every once in a while. This evening and tomorrow morning look perfect for plugging the surf.

I froze her. I'm going to practice gyotaku with some smaller fish and work on my technique. When I'm more comfortable with my skill, I'm going to thaw her out and make an imprint.
