| I'm looking for enclosed boat storage on the island or in the bluff with power. Any suggestions? |

Do have an OUTSIDE spot. In the Bluff and very close to Bluff's Landing. _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |

So I assume that the boat stop doesn't have any power in their stalls? _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

I keep my boat at Spareroom, never have any issues, 125.00/month. I would like somewhere in the bluff however, the drive back to spareroom, although not long, seems far after a long day on the water (and a few ride home cocktails from down south)! _________________ Later,

Best deal I found was Jim's Boat Barns on Laguna Shores at SPID. $95/month. Has power and outdoor water to wash down. Dirt floor, and not TALL enough for tower boats...old school. Keep calling him, as he may have one available that day, and can't find his "up in line list", as happened to me.

The only thing wrong with Jim's is that the dividing walls don't go to the ceiling. An unhonest person go from stall to stall and take what he wants. I like leaving my gear in my boat. My 2 cents... Adios

Not all of Jim's storage units are "open" (divided by hog wire).
My unit at Jim's had cinder block walls on both sides. When I gave it up, I tried to get someone on these forums to take it, but no luck....
The other side of the coin are the units at the corner of Jester and Military for $150/month. All concrete and metal, combo gate entry, and TALL. |
