Anybody have a recommendation for rod repairs in Corpus. I had a guy who use to repair them close to Suntide Rd. but he has since moved. I prefer not to drop them off and leave them for two months.

It was sad to see my old friend John Chaney move off from out on Suntide. It sounded as if it worked out great for him though. I understand he landed up yonder in catfish heaven up on lake Conroe. He was an awesome Rod & reel guy, 1st class work. He always told me that if I wasn't in a hurry that I could pick it up tomorrow! Good luck on finding someone to pick up,the slack, I need to get hooked up with someone myself for repairs.........cC

I never knew his last name but sure did appreciate his quick repairs. Hope he enjoys his new location, he will be missed. Guess it is time to start fixing my own rods!

Fishermans Place usually has my reels and rods done the next day. Ask for Ralph he is a great guy to deal with, they are on Ayers in the Arcadia shopping center. Open Tuesday-Sunday
