Great catch! Love those smacks fileted with skin on one side and cooked on theach grill. I love my fish grilled more than anything though. Congrats on the nice haul. _________________ wishin i was fishin! |

nice job Zia, I was down there too. The pomps were non stop but kinda small and the whiting were nice size. Tossed all mine backed. Caught all mine in the 2nd gut when I casted to the 3rd sand bar the bite was too slow. lots of bait and a very clean beach free of any weed and the water was clear.
Would love to again today but I'm a little sunburned still on the face and I'm upgrading my exterior surveillance system with some really good stuff.
You know how I like my smack.... _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

I filleted them, cut out the small bones down the middle of the fillets and cut out the bloodline. the meat seems rather soft. I was wondering if I should try cooking it or just finding a cat |
It makes great sashimi when fresh IMO. |
