Was supposed to be a solo kayaking trip to the Packery flats/channel. That quickly changed Saturday night with my daughter telling me she wanted to go to the beach. GOOD call.
6 keeper Redfish total Largest 26" caught on mullet heads, brought 2 home for the fryer.
Dodged numerous t-storms only 2 sets of sprinkles the whole day, we fished til 1 P.M.
Hardheads, whiting, skipjack, and bluefish were plentiful.
Bait was easy to come by.

| Nice report. Good to hear that the reds are starting to run. But the best part of your report was that big smile on your daughter's face. Precious! |
