I hope everyone is having a good day at work. Winds are currently 2-6 in my yard but are 15-18 at the surf this morning. I guess that wind dies as it comes across the Lagoon. The humidity must knock it back. the current temp is 80degs with 97% humidity. The barometer is 29.88. There are a few showers on the radar and its raining lightly at my house. We decided not to go fishing for a few days.......in the boat. So I think i will go toss a Gotcha plug this morning and maybe put out a fishbite or two in the surf. I have read some reports of Spanish Mack hook ups on 361 fishing but I never know about that site, but hey it beats sitting around the house. First cold front on Monday......

Nice rain may not make it to the surf for a short trip. Gotta take my brother to the doc later. I guess ill go fish in the rain it will be refreshing.

Yes sir you are right. There was a small short between my hat and the soles of my Crocs, coffee fixed that.

Lots of waves, lots of current running South, almost zero bait working, couldn't catch a hardhead, caught 2 Skippy's on a gold spoon. The water was a nice color and very warm on the feet which felt really good. Gotta go do family stuff.....

There are small schools of mullet but they were really zipping by with the current. Looking at the Bob hall web cam and the wind speeds which have dropped to single digits from what they were this morning. I'm almost thinking of going back out but I just might wait until in the morning.

Hey Stan, I think I saw you this morning. Do you drive a Nissan? I pulled up south bob hall around 10:00 am. Was sitting in my truck eating my breakfast and I thought I recognized you as you were driving by. I was in a grey F150.
I fished with live shrimp from 10:00 to 4:00, caught plenty of whiting and hardheads. I kept a small whiting and used it for cut bait, ended up catching some huge hard heads with that. The wind did die down later in the afternoon and the surf was starting to settle down a bit. Was a good relaxing day. |

Yes sir that was me driving by while you were chowing down. Stop and say hello anytime. Or honk if I'm driving by. Funny I had one guy drive by me 3 or 4 times it was getting a little freaky he was in a small car. Then he parked a little ways down from where I was fishing facing toward me. I think he wanted my phone number or something. A little weirdo he was.

I think he had more than pie on his mind. Some ( not all )of those vehicles that are usually backed up into the dunes and a guy just sitting there......either he is on the search or there is another guy in there with him that you cant see.
