Weather looks pretty good Sunday through Wednesday. Can anyone give us an update on surf and water conditions around Port A? Any fishing reports?
Webcam shows dirty surf despite low waves and winds. Thinking of heading down to nail some Smacks and Pomps.

Thanks!!!

Dirty, but not as cold. Drove to the N. Sticks this morning and did see a number of fish caught. Whiting (numerous), a nice slot drum, and what I figured was a hardhead, given the gingerly way the guy was handling it.

Headed for smacks and pomps? That ambitious, given the dirty water. I will tell you that ZERO pomps were weighed in for the Deep Sea Roundup last weekend. First time I can ever remember a bay/surf species getting shut out. But if you come down, good luck to you.

I was down in the same area as well. Brown and cold. Tons of gafftop out there. Cast netted a small (5") pomp oddly enough. Mullet are pretty thick and easy to cast net though.

I wish it would get better. We are off this week and heading down PINS for 3 or 4 days regardless of the conditions. Probably be there Tuesday thru Friday or saturday.

The water was definitely warmer south of The Sticks yesterday, with streaks of green showing. Maybe.....mayyyyyyyybe we'll have clear water later this week. I feel a sick day coming on for some dawn jetty fishing.

Picked up 2 trout on plastics this morning in the PINS surf at daybreak. Water is still a little brown but looking better than yesterday.
