1st time post however i will always try to report in the future with my fishing adventures. 2/22 i intended to fish the boat hole but stopped in the icw about halfway between JFK bridge and power lines as my gps sonar was showing some activity around 10 am. i anchored on the east side in 11ft of water. casting to shallow and retrieving back to deep using the drop. started catching lots of dink trout and after running out of live shrimp i switched to chartreuse with red flake DOA and shrimp flavored pro cure under a popping cork. the action never stopped. when i tired of using that rig a changed over to an assassin paddle tail on 1/16 oz jig head in sugar and spice and also with pro cure. by 3pm i had caught close to 100 dink trout with a keeper about every 10 to 15 catches. i was at the dock with my limit by 3:15 with my limit and never made it to the boat hole

So sad your trip was cut short....
