Anybody know or have some advice on the bait of choice for best results targeting redfish and black drum this time of year? I mostly fish Port A jetties and humble channel/Laguna madre _________________ Be Good and Good Luck |

| In addition to the above, cut mullet or menhaden is also an option if you can't get the shrimp and crab. |

Am I the only person who's ever caught hardheads while soaking half a fresh crab? _________________ Dave

Some of us, myself included, are very adept at catching hard heads on anything. Recently have been very good at catching lizard fish as well. _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |

I have, but it's a real challenge. Much harder than catching convicts on a fly even. Only for purist though |

| I'm trying to dig up a picture of packery back in March. I make a lot of shark trips down the beach and usually stop at Jp for shark bait in the late hours. I'll tell u this much.. I ruined a net landing at least 30 or more hard heads. I see it from time to time there and it's literally a blanket of hard heads. We threw curly tails lures hoping to get some skipjack and instantly was hit by hard |
