Looking for a heavy duty yeti lock bracket. I seem to remember someone on this site fabricating them.
Anyone know who it was and are they still being made?

Thanks,
Fred

Not sure how heavy duty you need, but Chris's Marine in Aransas Pass carries the Yeti brand bracket kit. It comes with the bracket, cable and lock. I think I paid between $20-30 for it.

Be sure and tell any Yeti thieves that they should be looking for Yeti coolers in San Patricio County, that seem to have been carelessly left sitting under car ports or next to RVs. They come with a special prize! Very Happy

Yeah the guy that was posting those in the classifieds only posted ads to his commercial venture so I had to delete them.

My wife works for Yeti. Such a great product and the founders are avid fishermen.

It needs to be made from good steel such as a d series or an s series even a 400 ss series that can be hardened to a 55rc or better. It could be made from 300 series in a 1/2 or full hard. If not bolt cutters with good jaws will snap right through that thin plate. Cable is better than chain except now thieves are using battery operated die grinders....small, quiet, efficient.
