Looking foward to the weekend with the higher tides finally, although extreme lower tides don't bother me it just puts all the broken pipes and other obstructions closer to the top. It always facinates me when I see a new chunk in the water and wonder how I never hit it. However it leaves a good imprint on the mind. I hope to hit it Sunday as work will keep me off the water Saturday. I need a new trolling motor anyway and I have one lined up for a very good price. I will also be glad when bird season starts because it clears out the Lagoon and then deer season starts and there are less boaters and thats my favorite time of the year to fish. I'm waiting for Shallowsport to show some blood on the deck of his new "shallowsport" boat. Maybe this weekend. Have a great day see you in the BACKYARD. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

She got slimed good with a mess of trout. Best trout went 26", and was caught by the captain, of course. Gotta get in the habit of taking the camera. My daughter, and family, are here from NYC. Gonna get out for a boat ride but probably no fishing. If I see you on the water I'll do a couple of circles so you can see the boat. _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |

Invited Zia to come along but he got the message too late. You're on the list to help break in the boat. Do know that you will have a camera somewhere!
Did 1st Launch at Bluffs Landing but it was so grassed in on the return that took the trailer over to Billings to load the boat. Just do not like all that grass on the trailer and sucking it into the lower unit. Bluff Landing is real close but just might not be using it much. _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |

| We got tired of the grass on this side of the lagoon and started launching at marker 37 now. Been much nicer for sure. I have noticed the ramp here by my house at the old C&W, Laguna Shore Marina, wigglers, and whatever else it has been is now blocked off. Not sure why, but I have a feeling it has to do with the owners of the property starting to work on clearing it out slowly for development. |

If you guys get together on the new boat I hope you go full "Towboat" on the pictures.
I talked to Bluff Landing last month about the grass and he said he has a new and improved boom on order. When the old boom got waterlogged grass started pouring into the marina again. _________________ kick your shoes off and cast a line |

I'm glad to learn there is a solution! |

Me and my youngest one got to slime the "Once Misguided" Thursday morning. Several dink trout, but a 28" red and a 17" flounder. KRS fishing just past the power plant on the east and west banks of the gut.
Be safe out there this weekend! _________________
