well it's mid August and my late Dad... FarmerRancher and astute weather observer(handed down thru a few generations) always said that there would be a change around Aug 15..
the summer high pressure moved and we had showers and t-storms here Aug 12...my shoulders are wet from a little shower this AM...AND we are forecasted to have a wetter than normal autumn.. big El Nino event!
so...! hoping for higher river flows and fresher bays...
after several yrs of drought...
rain, baby, rain! _________________ the creepy uncle that scares the kids.... |

| I hope you and your late Dad are right! We had a shower here in Austin this morning and it sure cooled things off a little. I love the fall fishing, so bring it on! |

about 5 more days and at daylight, you'll feel/smell a change...
we're only a month plus from fall solstice...
gonna happen!
