Water is clear all the way to the jetty. Surf was flat all the way to the jetty. Driving is still very good most of the way, some soft rutted sand in the usual areas. Caught 2 undersized reds around the 45 and a keeper trout around the 35. Water is actually too clear and too calm if I dare say. What a diff. From last week. Lots of people on the beach. Water was warm in some spots and cold in others lots of Blue Crabs all the way. Large scattered mullet. Caught my fish standing on the sand throwing a spoon. It was more of a shell collection trip for the wife than a fishing one, otherwise I believe I would have fairs better.

We were at The Nic at the 51. Was kind of slow as well. We did get a surprise 48" king on a paddled out shark bait which was cool. And 1 pomp and 1 red along with a few whiting. Bait was HARD to come by. On the way off today birds were working hard and bait was being blasted right off the sand at the 38mm. It's starting to look better down there.
