| We had a last minute change of plans and decided to hit up the beach before the front blew in. I'm not a fan of being in the boat with a forecast of 20+mph winds. Any how the bite was on. Went down about 10-15 miles and used the good ole shrimp fishbites combo. Got reds, pompano, big whiting, sheep head, and a few small sharks in the 3ft range on cut bait. Action was fast till the wind blew in and it got nasty quick. No seaweed but lots of sticks, branches, and trees. It was about 50/50 catching fish in the 1st and 2nd gut |
