One more thing on the Sunday late afternoon whiting excursion down SBH.
Out past the 4th bar there was something just exploding the baitfish! It traveled up and down the beach for a good hour. No birds working it, but bait just jumping out everywhere. Spanish likely, or maybe kings, but the water still seems cool for kings. Impressive to watch. |

Saw that at the northern part of PINS Sunday morning. maybe only the first 2 miles. It was too early for the heavier spoons to get their attention but they were too far for me to reach with anything else. The schools I saw were probably just inside of the 3rd bar. They worked until about 8 am then scattered. I figured it was Spanish, Blues or Jacks. Unfortunately, that was all of the action I saw Sunday besides a little Bonnethead on my pomp rig. _________________ -Pat |
