You should stop by the breakaway shop and check out the new gdx. I have to say it is one good lookin stick. And of course being designed by Nick, its gotta be good.

How is it different from the HDX or LDX? I saw Nick's posts on facebook but didn't see any info on his site. I'm interested but currently out of state Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the interest in the new rod. The color is Blue and black and it looks pretty sharp. Its a 12ft 2 piece rod with a cast weight of 2oz to 6oz. Line recommendation is 20lb to 30lb plus shock leader. The rod has an easy load tip and is built strong so suitable for Jetty work as well as the beach. We have them in stock in spinning, casting and blanks. We have moved to Unit C4 same complex. We used to be in B2. Again thanks for your interest. Regards Nickaway.

Just got the GD-X rod blank in the mail thanks to you Smile
I am going to start wrapping this week. It weighs about the same as a pair of chopsticks. Going to match it up with a Daiwa Millionaire 7HT MAG (super tuned). That was the last of my football winnings from the Cowboy V's Redskins game. Got to bet on Colt!!!
