I've been poking around online looking for a couple of good LED Light bars. One will be mounted on a boat and the other on a truck.
Anyone have suggestions on what brand or light type I should be looking for? I'm willing to make the investment but I want to make sure I'm getting a high quality product that accomplishes the intended goal.
Thanks!

KC makes a light bar, but you pay for it. It does have their kickass warranty.

Wow. Wasn't expecting to drop $1k+ on a light bar haha. I'm looking for shorter ones anyway. Around the 20" range.

Send wallhanger a pm, he has added all sorts of lighting to his boat. Or you can search his past posts for the link he posted. Very inexpensive.

Good luck

I have a phlashlight on my my dads rig (running over 2 years now) and one I got on Ebay is on my current boat. Both have performed very well and have held up. I run to the cabin at night a lot of times and they both light up the way very well. Here is the link to phlash lights http://www.plashlights.com/
Here is the one I have on my boat now http://www.ebay.com/itm/111191611055?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

and the mount http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-BILLET-ALUMINUM-1-75-TUBE-MOUNTING-BRACKETS-FOR-DUAL-ROW-LED-LIGHT-BARS-/201159179959?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ed6057eb7&vxp=mtr

This is the Ebay light mounted on my burn bar.

Blast-n-Cast, who made your burn bar? Obviously, I think it's well done, and would love to see a photo showing the complete bar and how it's mounted on the deck.
Never mind B-n-C, I found where you used BlueStreak, and look forward to learning more about their work.

Blue Streak made it. They made a really nice boarding ladder for me as well. The burn bar is through bolted on my console. They did a great job building and mounting it. I am not sure if you can see in the pic or not but it has a platform to stand on as well. I can see forever from up there and its actually really stable to fish from. Here are some pics of the stuff they did for me (This is before I added the LED)

Cree makes a good light, and eBay has them. Just watch the shipping charges.

Thanks for posting the photos of Blue Streak's work they did for you. I really like what they did, and it's unique. Smile

I also prefer Cree light bars. My 16' predator had an 18" bar and I will be ordering a 30" for my truck.

There is one for sale on 2coolfishing.com. Scroll down to General Merchandise and you will see the post by "daboys". It is a 40" new in box, pictures are included, price is $200.00. I do not know "daboys" and I don't know if $200.00 is a good price, I just saw the listing and am passing it on.
