Launched at L-Head and caught these Saturday between 8-9 am, the bite was fast and furious then just stopped all together and nothing. All caught on free-line dead shrimp as all bait shops in Corpus said they were out of live shrimp. Called Cos, Billings, Red Dot, 37, Bait Bucket, Nueces... etc This was about 7am and they all said, "just sold out." So no trout fishing, just dedicated the morning to Mangroves. The dead shrimp worked ok, ended up with around 15 snapper, only caught 2 hardheads, and had to go through a bunch of perch. Hope you enjoyed the short read, pretty uneventful day but good dinner.

Looks like a good mess of fish to me .
