I do too but as silly as it seems you can't use gamefish like trout or reds for bait even the carcasses in a crab trap.

For clarification, I don't use any game fish parts, only hardheads, and the like. Game fish parts go into the trash in a plastic bag.

Cause we all know, that in the grand scheme of things, it's FAR BETTER for those pieces and parts to end up in the landfill, as opposed to being put to use, even if only for bait. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

But Rules are Rules, no matter how asinine. Wink

Cricket, not allowed to do that with redfish or trout unless the carcass is of a non-gamefish like mullet or whiting etc.

Flour bluff has two seperate canal systems one much smaller than the other the smaller one being at the very end of laguna shores.

Thanks for the geometry lesson Lagunatic, does it matter which one I live in? Which one will allow you to throw Speck carcasses in the canal?

In the keys in Florida, the 5'+ tarpon and nurse shark loove the people that throw the carcasses in. They'll almost catch it before it hits. Of course they're used to the people throwing it in, but still an awesome sight to see a tarpon inhale a full mahi carcass!
