Must be a 4 stroke. You can do anything with a 2 stroke. I would drain that motor and flush it out refill and use some starter fluid to fire it up. I myself would flush it with diesel fuel. That option is up to you. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

i put my tohatsu on the wrong side once. set it up right and drain the oil. let it sit for a few hrs. pull the carb (if its carbed) and clean it. pull the plugs and clean them with some electro wash. after it has sat, give her a few (like 2) gentle revolutions. fill the oil, install the plugs, put carb back on and fire her up. probably gonna smoke for a little bit. shut her down and check the plugs. they will probably be pretty fouled. i would replace them at that point _________________ If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am. |

Today i took out the plugs, took off the carbuerator and air intake, cleaned them really well. I added a little engine starter to the air intake filter. Feathered the gas a little while trying to start and fired up. Thank yall. _________________ Flounder Slayer
