Made a day trip today mainly to take my Dad to look at some tax foreclosures in the area. So no boat and no kayak. When we were done went by the Bait Bucket and picked up a pound of fresh dead shrimp. Hit the usual spots that we could drive up to. Started way back of the South Packery nothing. On the way out I pulled out a big ol F250 that was stuck with my little 4Runner. He was having issues with his 4 wheel drive. Then went to the back side of Mustang Island where my little boy started catching piggy perch. Then went to the North Packery and he picked up piggy perch and small croaker. He had a blast. Man was that wind blowing. We didn't want to come home, finally left about 6:30 pm.

Nice! Your little boy looks like a pro Smile... Good job sticking in there with all this wind! It seemed pretty harsh out there, but tomorrow seems like it's really gonna lay low.

Great job getting the boy out on a windy day.
I was out for a Sunday drive with the family and drove in on the North side across from you. The weed is all piled up on that side with the wind. I saw that lifted black Ford blowing sand from only two wheels, I think. The smell of fresh burning fluids was blowing across to where I was. Some guy was trying to get him out in what looked like a 2wd blue Dodge when I left. The Dodge guy was stuck for ten minutes or so before he made it all the way to the Ford. Good fishing coming your way for helping that guy out.
