Well my bday was last Friday so me, my wife and our dog took off Saturday after work for an extended weekend trip like we do every year. We kept watching to see what the weekend would hold and I guess I've been livin right cuz that awesome window popped up. Karma from doing the Big Shell and Port Mansfield Beach Cleanups? Who knows but I'll take it. Driving sucks, weed sucks (in close). Anyway, I'll keep it fairly short. Sunday was a sit and drink and enjoy the day that we were given because if conditions were what they were supposed to turn into on Monday, we would be fishing Monday and Tuesday morning before heading back to SA.

Monday morning up and running the boat up and down the channel to make sure everything was clicking after being put up for a few months and I was comfortable making a trip I've been wanting to do for a while. W extra food\water\dog food\safety gear etc in the boat, we took off S and for the horizon to go find the TP&W reef they put up out off Mansfield. GPS said 8.5 miles. It was very simple to find w a big ole yellow buoy marking it. Fishing was slow but I figured it would be since it's marked so well, probably overfished. The one boat that was out there looked at us like we were crazy. Tuesday I just went offshore solo a few miles to knock out a few last fish for the freezer and then head for home. Fishing was on and conditions were awesome. Congrats to everyone that was able to take advantage and go slay some fish. Here's some pics, not the best quality cuz they were all from the phone since my camera was acting wonky.

(That's not my bbq pit in the first pic so if you see it down there we didn't do it. We were gonna take it and trash it but it wasn't rusted so we left it in case someone else would use it).

I just got a tent cot and used it once, for those that don't have one, get one.
