wow...interesting. Did you build the beachhouse with scraps found on the beach?
Great setup for sure!

Really nice. What all can those two solar panels provide energy for?

We have been making our way to the PINS almost every year since 1979. It is a 1200 mile trip down for us. We build the beach house out of what we find on the beach, plus tarps. They hold up well to most of what the Island tosses at us. The PARK SERVICE only request is we take them down before we leave. Over the years we have had mixed reaction to our flags. It is our way of letting our friends know we are back to visit. Thanks to all down there, and to our higher power, that made such a great place!!!!!!!!!!

The two panels are 120 watts They produce enough to keep the camper fully charged .

Great looking set up. Glad to know others have been successful with truck campers on the beach. Plan to start watching for the right weather window and beach conditions in July through the rest of the year.

Very nice. Shade is definitely at a premium over a long stay.

Thanks for posting the pictures of your beach house. Truck campers are the only way to camp on the beach.

I will be getting down that far in the near future.

Thanks
Cliff

Looks exciting.
Are you sure that you are not really some "Okies from Muskoggie"?...apologies to the Boomer Sooners if I misspelled Muskogie(sp?).

I've looked at the Northern Lite campers - there's a dealer near Sequin. What's your review of it Mile High BB ? Is it "beach" hardy ?

I like how it is made, It is only 1900 lbs dry. It has put up with wind and salt well. Before I got it I had three diffrent pop up campers. All had problems with the beach. The wood in them would get soft and the the pop up would fail after 5 trips down. The northern lite is like a boat, the only problems I have had is some of the drawers have failed because of the off road abuse. Only time will tell I bought this one about 10 years old and it is still working well.
