Unless you have a lot of friends that own a boat and are willing to come and get you after you have screwed up, broke down or did something else stupid. As we all have. Get hooked up with some type of towing service, like Sea Tow or US Towing and make sure your boat insurance has
towing coverage.

All good advice.

Get rid the factory bilge pump and upgrade to TWO high volume units.
Believe me, someday you'll need them and when you do, you'll wish that they had TWICE the output!!! Shocked Embarassed

The tip on Marine StaBil needs to be reinforced. It will not only save on repair bills but also on frustrating wasted days when your motor won't start at the ramp or worse yet, when your miles from home and the sun is going down!

Good luck with it and remember the old acronym for boat:
Break
Out
Another
Thousand

You will at times get out of your boat to fish the shallows, make sure you anchor it properly so that when you return, it's still there. Wakes can loosen a boat and it will drift away.
