| my favorite beer which I can't find here in Texas this from La Cumbre Brewing Company in Albuquerque New Mexico called Elevated IPA. 7.2 percent ABV and 100 IBU's. Beer going to now here is Lagunitas pale ale "New Dog Town". 6.2 percent ABV don't know IBU but it must be up there cause it's nice and hoppy. With softball starting this week it's cheap o beer time at the game Frio light or Natty light. |

Depends on where your buying beer, some stores have better selection than others obviously... Modelo Especial is my convenience store favorite _________________ I wouldn't take Tuesday off if you will show me a fish that bites on weekends! |

Shiner original(?) used to be blonde. I'm a sucker for them.
Firemens 4 is awesome just can't drink a lot personally of them
Woodchuck hard cider is kick behind and also makes a good liquid for BBQ sauce
I had some awesome beer in Germany as an exchange student but of course I don't remember which kind it was
Non "craft" beer would just be plain coors, I've lost all taste and interest in bud light and what not _________________

Agreed, pretty tasty.
But as an Abita fan, to me it tastes like somebody took a keg of Abita Amber and mixed it half-and-half with a keg of Abita Turbodog!
Not that it would be a bad thing, but that's how it tastes to me. |

CS - Your keg mishmash is what Abita calls a "Hound Dog."

My daughter and son-in-law own a mobile canning business and can for craft breweries all over the state. They get free craft beer from everywhere. I've tried so many craft beers in the last year I don't have a favorite any more or I can't remember having a favorite - not sure which.

'Tis the season for stouts! My retailer doesn't carry SN Narwhal stout...yet. Maybe they will soon. They also have not stocked my Christmas favorite, Brooklyn Chocolate Stout yet this year.
Surviving on SN stout...very good, and a few of the more pricey Founder's Breakfast Stout every now and then. The Breakfast Stout is an exceptional stout!!! |

We are enjoying Shiner Cheer beer right now, otherwise it's their bock. However, I'm usually good for only one beer a day, so my level of beer knowledge is pretty limited. This is definitely one of my favorite threads, and look forward to venturing to some other offerings.
Merry Christmas everyone |
