Its been a couple of weeks since I had the opportunity to fish and the weather was absolutely gorgeous today. Usually fish don't bite in weather like this but I had to run the boat and wanted to enjoy some sun. The baro was high at 30.30, water cold at 56 degrees, and tide low at .35 below zero. I started in the crash channels and spotted many fish but couldn't get them to take my lure. Then I tried tying on a white gulp and that was the key for today. Working them real slow on the edge of the channels produced 4 keeper trout and one chunky 27" red that weighed 7 and 3/4 pounds. Also 3 or 4 throw backs. Till next time!
