That is awesome! I wish more of these idiots got busted. I got a friend request from some random person down in the Valley and when I looked at their page it was full of pics of Bull Reds and Big Uglies in their front yard, obviously dead. I did not accept the friend request. I wonder if it was the same guy?
Its funny when people put evidence of themselves doing something illegal on the internet. Idiots!! I wish all criminals were this stupid. |

In Montana where I spent most of my life, a dude like this would have his license suspended for years, boat, truck, tackle, equipment and any thing of value with him at the time of the incident confiscated and sold at auction to pay for the stupidity in addition to a huge fine. _________________ If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is. |

Just as with spotlighting deer and such, you don't need a license to poach! Poachers couldn't give a rat's a$$ about licenses, regulations and such, that's why they poach! Same reason that thieves steal and scorpions sting; it's their nature! _________________ Dave

In lieu of the fine, they could make him do community service. I'm thinking 1000 hrs picking up trash along PINS... _________________ "There's no such thing as a bad day fishing." |

wow. just wow. it always amazes me, the stupidity of some people. for one thing, taking that many of those "wormy things" is bad enough, but then putting the pic online? c'mon bro, show some sense. I'm glad one of these a-holes got busted. I can't count how many times I've see people walking off the jetties or the packery with more than their share of fish. _________________ Wishin' I was Fishin'... |

Walking onto the pier (Mk 37) Thursday night I saw several different people leaving with obvious oversize drum. Oversize and no where near the 52in exception. The game warden would've met his ticket quota. _________________ Fishing is my addiction |

Removing his license makes it harder for him to do this because he will not even be able to hold a rod near the water. He has to worry about being checked all the time. And it also keeps him from being able to legally participate in something he obviously likes to do. It's a punishment. That's why you take the license away. It's never going to completely stop him but it will make it more difficult. It's like saying there is no reason to take a speeders license away because he is still going to speed. Probably, but he has to worry about it more since there are more things he can be charged with since he has been caught before and has no license. |
