I'd like to go in the morning but I don't want to waste my time. Does anyone know how the Jetties are fairing over there?

Haven't heard anything. It's been windy as heck, and rough in the Gulf...bad combo for jetty fishing.

Port A has been on and off. The jellyfish are horrendous in the evenings along the windward sides of the jetties. I mean thousands. Of course, this has a huge effect on where the mullet swim. A lot of flounder being caught near the Ferrys and the Reds seem to be stacking up in the jetty channel. The flounder are packing up ready to move. Fish the channels, Aransas, Shrimpboat and Sailboat with shrimp, dead or alive. The War Dept. and I got into a pod of them yesterday off the bulkhead at Conn Brown and the Aransas ICW channel.

I was going to head out with the boat today, but I don't like fighting wind when I need to concentrate on hook sets. But will try the shoreline at Conn Harbor for those flatties.

The Pasture is slow, but they are getting a few Reds and flounder there. The mullet are hard to get to along there because of the wind and current washing the jellys up thick along the bulk head, hard to cast a net forty feet out there. But all together, it's good fishing where ever you end up. The bite starts later in the shallows due to a number of conditions especially allowing the water temp to come up. So mid day isn't out of the question to get a limit.

Just went for a drive and went up to the jetty. Lots of birds working on the channel side. Didnt see anyone catch anything but the water wasn't too horrible. (Not like pins anyways)

Was at north jetty on Friday. Brought home 2 reds, (24 and 26), black drum, one speck, and 1 mangrove snapper. Lost a couple of heavy ones in the rocks. Lots of big lady fish. Others caught reds and one 4 ft blacktip. Lots of jellies too but mullet was present. Of course today is when I leave for home and weather looks great!

Ummmmmmmmmmm...........no. the only thing I found yesterday is about 5 snags and a d hangover. And today I went again and still didn't find them. Yesterday watched a guy drag a 30-35" red down the jetty and today watched a guy fight a 20-25" red for about 15 mins. Orher then that that's it. I caught a pony mullet thet was hooked through the stomach with another hook and some line. Somehow I caught the line with my spoon. Kinda weird.
