Have an ambassaduer 7000 and had it on a 10' American rodsmith until I broke two eyes this weekend at sharkathon. Any opinions on another rod to put it on would be appreciated. Thank you.

There are a few guys on here that can replace those guides if you like that rod. Just tossing out another option.

I took my rod to Roy's and they were able to replace the eyes on it within a few days and was done at a good price as well. Rod has been doing good since.

If you don't repair it, abs are looking for an up grade, go see Nick at Breakaway. He'll take good care of you. His rods are the best, when it comes to big surf rods.
