Hopefully they get the swell report right. It was calling for flat today, not even close! We took my 16' Scooter out past packery and immediately turned around. 3-5ft was a bit nerve racking. I learned how to "surf" it back in. All I can say is that once you commit to breaching the jettys, don't stop and try to turn around! Keep going, then u turn. A couple other guys said no dice and we lined up and headed back in.

when coming back in ride the back side of the wave....don't get in front of it and surf....you have way less control and might end up in the rocks.....taught to me by my brother in the Coast Guard who does it for a living. _________________

Tried it today.....Buoy says 2.3 ft....On top of 4ft maybe !! Jeez it was rough. Turned around after 5 miles out. Right now you can forget about trolling, way to much seaweed out there.

I heard the same thing about the weed. We had some nice baits too, oh well. Better safe than dead.
