Very successful event on Saturday out in Port A., but the one thing that astounds me still is "people, .... this the the TEXAS GAME WARDEN ASSOCIATION Tournament". This ought to be the very LAST place you bring in an illegal fish. The place is swarming with GAME WARDENS!!! 
Yet every year, some knucklehead brings in an oversized red without a tag, and every year, they do the walk of shame and get a ticket!!!
Although it was worse last year for the guy who tried to weigh-in the week-old trout  . It had white gills, completely glassed over eyes, and super soft flesh - completely lost any hint of rigor mortis. When asked about the fish, this guys claims that it was caught that morning and it was on ice all day...... Here's your ticket.......  |

That's crazeee...I participated in that tourney and others before...didn't make that weigh in though...
.
The older I get the more I agree with what Ted Williams once said...

My first time fishing the tournament. Lots of fun. My dad caught the first tagged red but didn't have the lucky number. It's cool part of fishing.
