Many apologies Josh. Embarassed Perhaps the credibility of the source should be brought into question. Congratulations to your boy. I was informed that it was a live hammer that was left out, and it was made out to be far more sheisty.
I probably deserve the flogging for jumping the gun. I just happen to be a shark sympathizer, and have witnessed several instances of intentional shark killing and subsequent jaw thievery.

Again, congrats to you and your boy.

Rocket, no worries mate I realize you were fed misinformation and many of us may have reacted the same way. I would really like to get more details about the person who's spreading the rumors and misinformation. It might be important to me in the future. We already know it's the turtle patrol as they're they only ones who saw the shark, but if you don't mind I'd like to get a name from you if you know.

I was spearfishing the jetty with my daughter on Wednesday. Game Warden came up and asked me if I knew anything about a big Hammer being killed and left. I didn't (we were the only people on the N side, had the place to ourselves) but don't think it's a far cry to assume that was your fish. So whoever is spreading the rumors, it made it to the TPWD Game Wardens out of Port M also. They are under the impression it was left as waste.

Congrats to you and yours on a great catch. I'm still looking for mine.

Sean
