Took a quick trip to the down town jetties with my brother on our yaks.
Arrived at sun rise with some high winds and the water was slightly murky. but we gave it a shot with some live shrimp under a lemon rig.
Managed some hefty gaff tops, skip jacks ,Mangrove snappers and some trout.Dispite the windy conditions we had a great time just the quiet paddle out to the jetties was soothing and relaxing. My other friend criss and a friend went out on sunday and managed two limits of trout on live shrimp.pic will be included later.Heres a few pics of the day,Brother with his catch.
criss two limits of trout from sunday.
Had a great time fishing with my brother ,Tight lines see ya on the water.

That paddle inside the jetty is relaxing! Is so close I should do it more often! Thanks for the report _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

| You can wade around them? I thought the water was deeper. |

Inside the breakers you can walk around the rocks but the it drops off.
The bay side is deeper,Which is the other side of the rocks. _________________ ''ONE LAST CAST''

Nice job Surfdragon! Sounds like you got a nice variety of fish there! That's why they call it fishing!

I'm curious about the launch spot as well. Also if your truck is safe while you fish?

Launch off from the L head, The one with the bait stand on it. There's a boat ramp on the parking lot. Its safe had no problems. _________________ ''ONE LAST CAST''

I tried launching off the Sea wall once. It's a little closer paddle but more difficult. I only did it the one time and from then just used the boat ramp _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

| Man I love these reports. I like seeing people catch fish in areas that seldom get any publicity. |
