Any report on whether the Sheepshead are still hitting around the rocks?
Not normally my target but got some kids with us this weekend and just trying to put them on on some fun. |

Yep. Still there. Lots of small ones but we managed some keepers sunday afternoon, biggest going 19". Used thumbnail sized bits of shrimp. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

| This is not exactly relavent but interesting. Right now in Florida the sheeps migrate offshore to reefs and humps in 20 to 30' of water and I am talking huge. Many are caught over 8 pounds and a 5 pounders is very average. If you go to the gainesville sun's sports page and read reports by Gary Simpson from the last few weeks he gives alot of info on the spawning season. The few times I went it was a blast and some awesome fights. |
