Fished thursday night at Marker 37 and saw people keeping oversized drum. I personally saw 3 of them drug down the pier and out to the parking lot. We landed and released 3 ourselves up to 41" and 35 pounds.

Called Operation Game Thief at approximately 1:15am and got no answer. I got the recording that said to report a violation press 2 but after that it just kept ringing, no answer. It is not a very effective system when no one answers the phone!

Just thought I would throw this out there for anybody at TPWD who reads the forum. Send some wardens out there at night. The bait house closes so there is no one there to keep an eye out. Not sure what time it closes, but it was closed at 10 when we got there. People who are going to poach will figure out which places close and exploit that.

I've had the same experience with OGT.
Use this link to find Nueces county GW's direct numbers.
You can look up any other county as well.

No idea if that's a part of the budget cuts or if something else was going on... I don't know if it would have changed anything but you can also text a tip:

Why not let the cops do their job like they are supposed to?

It might be a good idea to make this list of game wardens & phone numbers a "sticky" at top of this message board.
