Fished Friday 20th at fish pass jetties from light until 10. Caught a 21" speck on a gulp shrimp under a popping cork. Missed a huge one on a skitterwalk. Lots of baitfish. Saw some jacks following my bait but no takers. Went and made an hour wade in the bay. Caught a 21" red on a purple redfish spinner. Saw alot of popping going on but couldn't get a speck to hit. Tried spoons and gulp shrimp on the bottom. No luck.

Saturday went offshore, choppy, alot of people got sick. Caught alot of nice red snapper, some b-liners, and one blackfin tuna was caught. Boat limited out.

Sunday went back to wade again for about an hour. Calf deep water over sand and grass. Caught a 23" and 27" red on the spinner(purple) again. Friend caught a 21" on a chartruese spinner. Saw a couple schools but not alot of time and had to leave for the 5 hour drive back home.

Awesome weekend, lots of fish, just wish I had more time.

In the bay down towards Corpus. I found there are plenty of places if you just look. I'm not sure what the name of the area was that I was fishing as I am not too familair with the Corpus area.
We did have a guy pull up in his kayak in between us. Three of us were making a wade and I guess he just thought he would join in. There was less than 70 yards between us.
