My wife and I decided on Sun. after church to hit the beach. We drove to Zahn Rd. and north of Packery and we had a choice. We didn't have to find a space in a parking lot on a holiday weekend nor lug the cooler (full, not empty), two chairs, umberella and umberella stand (can't take the sun any more) and container of snacking food. I decieded not take the fishing gear this time. Also had the choice of what area of beach we wanted. The first group of people were partying harty and having lots of fun. Maybe some other time. Anyway we DROVE farther, finding a spot that suited us, enjoying 3 or 4 hours of just being bums. When leaving I was glad to see a small sign for patition signing location. Hope a lot of signatures were collected. (Should I mention we didn't have to lug all our stuff to a parking lot to leave.)
