I've seen on here some guys having luck with gulp shrimp on corks. I've tried using the penny many times with no luck. I'm hooking them the same way I hook live shrimp. I've used it drift fishing and wading. Any suggestions....??

Use a 1/16 oz. jighead under your favorite float and that should make a difference. That's how I use them... Smile

Remember it is a "lure" you have to work it. Mansfield mauler with about 18" of line then jighead. Work the hell outta it. The trout and reds love them. Also try taking the back hook off your fav. topwater tying about 12-18" on line to the back eye. Work your topwater like normal. you will catch fish on both lures sometimes. teh topwater action gives that shrimp awesome movement.
