FiberTex is great. Solid work at great prices. Also, Stoner will do this kind of work. Those are the only two I have dealt with for this kind of work. Good luck.

If your a do it yourself kinda person like I am, you can do it in 2 days and for around $200 using a product called Grizzley Grip. I just re-did my deck about 3 weeks ago, and its tough as nails. Im curious what the boat shops charge to do gel-coat.

Mike Dunbar, Fishco Marine, does fabulous work in fiberglass. However, contacting him and scheduling the work can be a problem.

Yes dit yourself and save $$ I buy gel coat and hardner and supplys at Succulent Supply off i37 and Buddy Lawerence. Prep is ever thing, clean with acetone after sanding, tape off and paint on gell coat, let dry completely, then if you have tough feet the grizzely is a good non skid product.

The Grizzley grip completely replaces gelcoat. Just grind/chip off any loose gelcoat. Use the primer they offer!! One gallon of coating did 2 coats on my entire boat. IMO it's alot more durable then old fashion gelcoat. People say its supposed to last 10 years. We shall see...

You might rent a dirt floor boat barn for a month. Wait for a day with no wind blowing into shed. Dirt floor is not as good as concrete, but you don't have to be concerned about your spills. Curing times for gelcoat and paint products always depend on humidity and temperatures. The odors are toxic, so buy a mask designed to screen out chemical vapors in your mix. I've done several similar projects. The ones I did outdoors always were less than desired, especially when flying bugs become imbedded in the surface of your project.

Flounder daddy, does the grizzly grip roll on or does it have to be sprayed on?

Rolled on with their textured roller. The primer uses a regular mohair or fine foam roller. Make sure you ask for two of their textured rollers. I only got one and it barely lasted the 2 coats.
