We lost today 42-14 to a very talented Georgetown team. After going
2-17-1 our first two seasons, we finished our historic run at 10-5. Sure was fun being a part of that. And congrats to Gregory-Portland and Flour Bluff for an outstanding season! |

Sorry to hear about the loss lil-red-hunter. Playoff runs are always very special to the school and the students involved. (I guess, since my high school never made the playoffs...in anything  ) I'm glad you got to experience it!  |

Football fever. Nothing like it. At some point all but one team walks off the field disappointed. It takes a bit to look back and see just how far you got.
All teams have something to be proud of. Those kids work their tails off. They are the better for it. So is their school and community. That is the true beauty of athletics. Class-Pride-Heart |

Thanks for the complimates here at GP. Georgetown must have some kind of offense to score 42 and defense to hold Rouse to 14. Just goes to show how tough it is to win a state championship in Texas. Congrats on a great season and hope to see you'll again next year about this time!  |
