The wife and I woke up bright and early at 9:30 am.  I am not sure what happened but it was kind of nice sleeping in for once. She wanted fish tacos so we hit the water at noon. I didn't take any pics but just look at Stan's report pics and cover up the drum. That was exactly what we brought home. 7 trout and a flounder. We had numerous upper slot reds (if not slightly over) chase baits right up to the boat. My wife managed to hook one but lost it after a short fight. The dark plastics where not producing for us. I caught my fish on a chartruese devil eye and my wife had a pink gulp. I had no luck on top or a spoon other than reds chasing them. We where back at home in time to clean up and watch the Cowboys. |
